MONKEY WORLD, DORSET

I've been wanting to go to Monkey World for 5 years but something always got in the way, health, family. So actually getting to go was very exciting. We went when the kids went back to school so it wasn't too busy. Monkey World is set back in the countryside and isn't sign posted until you get to Wareham. But there is ample disabled parking spaces. Disabled visitors get in for £8 as do carers. You can hire wheelchairs or scooters from the visitors centre if required. What I will say is the park is massive and it's a long walk took my husband just over 3 hours to push me round without stopping till we got to one of the two cafés. The whole walk is uphill and my husband is a fit strong man and it nearly finished him off by the time we had finished. But he had also walked while pushing me for just over a mile along the seafront in Weymouth the afternoon before! Over all Monkey World is a great day out for everyone children & Adults alike.
