Disability and the law

There are laws to prevent people with disabilities being treated unfairly. Just as sexism and racism are disgusting and illegal, so is discriminating against someone who is differently abled.

The label 'disabled' is not always helpful. Even if someone meets the legal definition, they may not see themselves that way. Instead of thinking about what is 'wrong' with people, or noticing what they can't do, we should be looking at how we like to live. And trying to make it possible for everyone to join in.

I totally agree, being disabled doesn't mean written off, it's amazing these days disabled people do sports, climb mountains, do marathons as well as other amazing stuff!! To be disabled is no longer a label! And more needs to be done to publicise it. Live your life and enjoy it!

This is the complex world! All people here should be treated equally and people with disabilities should be treated with courtesy and respect. Yes, there are many laws ensuring the safety of such people such as disability claim. My friend recently faced disability discrimination and now, is planning to make the SSD claim. He hired a disability lawyer right here who is competent, specialized and well-equipped and with necessary experience will have a very easy time crafting application for the claim so that your winning chances are increased. Hope so he wins and get back his rights.
