cannabis please

It's been a while since you posted, but thought I'd just reply anyway. I'm in WI, where pot is also still not legal. Actually under Federal law it's not legal in any state, but that's another issue. I'd use in a heartbeat if I could used in a safe, controlled environment. I'm guessing that until the drug companies create their own pot hybrids like seed companies do, we won't be seeing anything from big Pharma. My doctor has never directly advised me to use it but he hinted that he has no objections and knows of people who do use. We have had some issues with the DEA barging into clinics and demanding medical records of patients of doctors who do any kind of pain management. The fascists. Heck, if they would just legalize the darn stuff we could pay off the national debt through the taxes collected on sales!

I think pot should be allowed like morphine on pescription, can't have it on repeat pescription!

I can see your point, Bubbadog, about needing a prescription for cannabis. I guess here in the states there has been so much argument about its use, it has become a political issue and not a health issue any more. Doctors are losing their ability to decide what is best for their patients. Admittedly, I know of people who have used cannabis recreationally and had gotten ahold of some really bad stuff that had been cut with something that made them ill. So regulation is something I favor. I just see it as an option that could be safer than some of the medications I'm on now. Maybe not, I could have intolerable side effects. But I feel I should have the choice to try it.

I think it can help,of course it depends on the person my mom smoked it to help her eat more because she had leukemia,she never got it medically that I know of,she just knew some guy I guess..I just think it's all pharmacy related if they can regulate it and make Billions,they will figure out a way in time to squeeze more blood out of us..!!
