To be honest I'm not sure? It is something you would have to take up with the cruise company, I know they try to cater to all your needs when disabled.

Do you tip the staff?

We had pre-paid the graturity, but we liked to tip the waiters we got friendly with a 1/3rd of the bill. And at the end of the cruise we did envelopes to our room maid and resturant waiter and gave them an extra graturity as a thank you. But you don't have to do the pre-paid graturity but then you are expected to pay a graturity when you buy drinks at bars on the ship. Though some don't!
