Real Love is unconditionally caring about the happiness of another person. When we give Real Love, we are not disappointed, hurt, or angry, even when people are thoughtless or inconsiderate or give us nothing in return, because our concern is for their happiness, not our own.

I agree in part with what you say unconditional love is about being happy that the one we love is happy and I lived very much by what you said for nearly 6years, but what I learnt was that eventually anothers thoughtlessness, and neglect of us hurts and damages. So I would say it's great to make another happy but we have to think of our own happiness too. The best type of unconditional love is when it's a 2 way street. Just my opinion though
