Simple answer suzan.....Get our own back-sliders out of their beds....
If someone is able-bodied and doesnt work...
1..They get job seekers allowance for three months..then nothing...
2..Only give housing support for those working..( plus those unable to work )
If a work-shy person decides they will live off the state....Stop them doing it .
As you said there are enough out of work to fill the positions of vacant jobs....
Ive worked all my life,through pain and discomfort..The one thing that has pushed me is knowing Ive got bills to pay and pride xxxx
In Holland,you are not allowed into the country unless you can prove you have the means to live..Also applies to Austria,Switzerland..... Mind you,Austria not best example of a liberal society ( but their transport,hospitals and education are second to non)..
