Hi, sorry I didn't respond - a couple of days holiday.
I wanted to get feedback particularly on Environmental Controls, as Karl explained. This kit is out there being used (I reckon about 60 people in my corner of Yorkshire). But it's not perfect & we need to work with people using it to imperove things. Likewise about the NHS system for acquiring the kit.

Robert - I'm very conscious of the engineer who wants to help, has \"marvellous\" ideas & goes off to think - never to be seen again. Sometimes, I think it's because the engineer doesn't appreciate enough about the clients medical condition & that the details of \"how you live your life\" are so important.
I remember an installer insisting on fitting a door opener to the front door of a farmhouse, until the elderly farmer pointed out that front doors were only used for funerals!
However, I'm employed to do this - its my job!
I'm also a member of REMAP:
www.remap.org.uk/
which consists of local panels of volunteer engineers. Projects are discussed as a group (makes sure one person dosen't go off & make something silly) & the panels won't go away 'cos they've got fed up!
