I am Christian. Jesus first. I am not disabled, but I want to show that I care about everyone. Disabled people should not be marginalized. Every deserve to be treated with kindness, love, and respect.

Hiya! Am so glad I found this site! A bit about me: I was diag. w Crohn;s & UC when I was 9. It's abruptly interrupted & infected most every dream I've dreamed. Now I strive for simple things & a level of peace. Due to the remedies for Crohn's & UC which is surgery I've developed severe adhesion growth disorder. I've had many infections that also sacrificed my abdominal tissue. My entire core is now brittle tissue that tears & rips. My go to has to be my bed and apt until I can find someone that knows how to help people w extreme adhesion disorder. I hope I can make my world a little bigger and my life more interesting by finding others w limitations that cause them to also experience loneliness & isolation. :) Living within confines can do a #number on my mental mood. I have always found the physically suffering community possesses some of the funniest, kindest and courageous people I've had the fortune to meet! I am Pacific Islander, W. African, Native Amer., Aboriginal & Scottish! Lol! Quite the weirdo. So Aloha & G'day Mate!

I am a stroke survivor, Asian from Cebu City, Philippines. I have diabetes and had a problem with a knee surgery on the left leaving a scar. The ortho surgeon advised me to undergo but I got scared due to the pain, As of now, I walk around the house without a walker. I use it only I when go out, usually with my son, who is a doctor, His wife who is a nurse helps with my medication. My younger son is a neurologist and his wife, another doctor, also takes care of me. I have 2 children who were born in Chicago (a nurse) and an IT. My other daughter lives in TN.

I retired from 7cups back in Dec of 2024.
In Jan of 2025 I became a Mental Health Peer Ambassador at NoStigmas.
I was there for 6 months.
I was trained as a Peer/Mental Health Specialist/Advocate. Certified as well.
I go back for more peer training, when time allows me to.

Had a stroke five years ago. Prior to that very fit went to gym six times a week doing cardio, weights and step aerobics. Very outgoing. Had good job. Now living on my own and have no friends or relatives near me, so want to meet and chat to others like me. Internet terrible where I live so unable to chat online. Prefer to chat on phone.
