The 2022 Commonwealth Games is coming from Birmingham which is 20mins from where I live so feel it's my home City! 2 weeks of able and disabled competitors. The BBC are showing the games and have interviewed some Birmingham locals to show how friendly they are and such a mix of cultural people, we have Indian, Chinese, Polish, Asian Caribbean & African and British a beautiful mix living together in harmony We are so proud to have the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham! My step Brother & Sister are close to where the distance running was and my Nan is close to the NEC. It is on from 28th July to 8th August 2022. So far it's been exciting with lots of surprising medals, if you get the chance it's worth watching!!
