Lessons will be learned was created by Dorrie
Everyone must have read in the papers the story of the little boy who was tortured, then beaten to death.Although he was seen on sixty different occasions,by Social workers and Doctors,he was still sent back to his mother, stepfather and their lodger, who were all abusing him. This is the same team of Social Workers who failed to notice another little girl some years ago,who was also being abused and was beaten to death.
It would appear \"Lessons were not learned\".Yet again they have closed ranks,no one will lose their jobs.I just hope they can sleep at night,I could'nt after reading about this poor little soul. They were there to protect him,but yet again they failed in their duty of care.

I havent read it or anything but I have been told of it ...
I think its sick and horrid that they can do that to such a innocent child that doesnt even no how to protect them self or even know the right from wrong unlike his carers. It also wrong and unacceptable that after so many times noone did anything about it. Its about time they got they back sides and did their job, to protect the children that need them.

You are so right Cheeky, under the new animal welfare bill,if he had been a cat or dog he would have been removed from their care and rehomed, it is a great pity that we dont offer the same care to our young children.

It appears that an investigation is to be carried out...Sack everyone connected with the case and take them to court for voluntary manslaughter xxxx

If they cant sack them, give them a job cleaning the loo's, it would appear that is all they are fit for.
