Dear all
Most of an environmental controls system is funded by the NHS in the UK, but door openers, curtain openers, window openers & multipoint door locks are funded by local authorities. Does this give people problems?

It takes along time to approve the equipment with the social services. My window opener took 11 months to get the funding.

yes, that wld be terrible !!
round here there is a long waiting list for assessment of need......then comes the wait for supply.
i am a strong believer in involving your local councillor in these issues, especially when there is a risk to your personal safety.
