I am a 48yr old woman with Fibromyalgia. I am just about to lose my job as my employer does not feel I am able to continue in my current role. Until 6 months ago I was active in competitive football and hockey, although I couldn't always manage every week or a full match. Now I have a daily stretching programme which helps to get me through the day. I also try and go for a walk every day. I don't agree with western meds and try to control my pain with ice/heat/massage and natural supplements. I am generally quite positive and still harbour some hope that my condition will improve or that a 'cure' will be found.
