I used to be very fit and active,but for last 7 to 10 yrs have had impaired mobility ,had major surgery onspine numerous occasions,also recently had half my lung removed as I had malignant tumour,which apparently has been totally removed,very lucky that it. Was found early,I still have mild COPD but it hasn't been too bad since surgery. .dont get out much since giving up my car, I have friends but still spend a lot of time alone.my children and grandchildren live a long way away.I have been a widow since 1979. I love animals

Crosswords, reading, walking my dog short distances,or he runs alongside my mobility scooter.i knit for charity.Go to a local friendship club once a week, we have quizzes ,raffles etc.and guest singers every three weeks.Breaks the boredom somewhat.

Like almost all music,like John Legend,simply red,was a big Elvis fan once,still like his music

Haven't been to the cinema for ages , ,I have enjoyed many films such as Lord of the rings,Magnificent marigold hotel,Kings Speech,etc,varied tastes.

Like wildlife programmes, Planet Earth, and good dramas.

Like Wilbur Smith books,particularly the ones based in Egypt.enjoy historical novels
