I was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. A difficult childhood marked my determination to become a writer. Over the years, I have developed a passion for romance and fiction.

In 1969, I joined the Army, where I served for thirteen years, travelling around the world. Later, I took a job as security guard for a local school. In 1985, a serious car accident left me partially paralysed, in a wheelchair, having to re-learn everything, challenging me to make something out of my life.

I studied Information Technology at Thomas Danby College (a college for students with learning disabilities), from which I graduated with 17 diplomas.

Today, I have embarked on the greatest challenge of my life: a writing career. I live in the picturesque district of Newtownabbey, with my wife Betty and our three grown children.
