Jodie Ounsley, aka Gladiator Fury, may only be 22 years old - meaning she was just a baby when Gladiators was axed by ITV in 2000 - but the professional rugby player grew up obsessed with the show all thanks to a family connection. The original series of Gladiators, hosted by Ulrika Johnson, John Fashanu and later Jeremy Guscott, ran from 1992 until ITV scrapped it in 2000.
The professional sports star went on to add: "Gladiators has been in my family, so to now be Fury - my dad is my biggest supporter, so that's really cool... I'm a professional rugby player, which really helps massively as some of the games are really physical. It's a dream for me really."
