Hey stop!!, take your finger off that mouse...
If your looking at my profile firstly I'm infectious, funny with a quick wit, with a humorous side to any situation. My friends tell me that my humour makes them laugh, well I laugh at my problems, everybody else does.
When it comes to music I'm still in the 80's still sorry, but I do enjoy music that makes your feel relaxed and at ease with yourself, music like Sacred Spirit, 'when I fancy a Indian', Vangelis and Jean Michael Jarre.
Although usually I've just got the radio on, I enjoy listening to Talksport.
When it comes to watching films I'm like 'Mr Blockbuster', my friends call me, I like anything from sci-fi, martial arts to action. Some of my favourites are, Avatar, (its one blue movie you can get away with watching), The Lives Of Others, Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, The Orphanage, Vanishing Point- the older version.
Sometimes I find there is nothing like a good spooky film to get the blood stirring, films like; Saw, Hostel, Drag Me To Hell, plus I do love the film The Ninth Gate.
I'm not really a big fan of money, although my nieces and nephews don't seem to think so around Christmas time, I do spoil them, enough to drive my two sisters mad. Money can't buy you happiness, but it sure makes misery easier to live with.
I am a big lover of American shows to, these include Dexter, Lost, Chuck, Burn Notice, 24, CSI, CSI Miami, plus programmes that make you think and feel like those on National Geographic and Discovery.
I did see The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo which I thought was brilliant, so much so that I've read the next book in the trilogy, The Girl Who Played With Fire and then The Girl Who Stirred The Hornets Nest.
Now when it comes to watching comedy and things that make me laugh, I'm a massive fan of Only Fools and Horses, Steptoe and Son, Rising Damp and the old classic Hancock's Half Hour, love anything with Sid James in.
I do like to watch sports, I love formula one and have been to Silverstone on many occasions, I've got a season ticket at a Midland club. I follow horseracing and have a bet on the odd occasion, big races and just if I fancy a horse on the day. I'm not a great gambler and if I win I'll always buy something for my nieces and nephews.
When it comes to other interests, I love antiques, old quirky items, car boots, reading autobiography's, Stephen King books, watching cricket and spoiling my nieces and nephews. I love children although I don't have any of my own, a big regret in my life.
I'm looking for a long term relationship with a women who is firstly patient, caring, a women who can accept me in my wheelchair and love me for being me.
One day in the future I would like to live by the sea, maybe Devon but I spent some time in Folkstone in the Army, I enjoyed my time there, I found it was a lovely place. (Although cold when the sea air blew in, especially when your running around in your shorts).
At the moment I'm busy writing my book, I hope to get it finished some day in the future soon, its entitled "I've Saved a Fortune on Shoes".
Over the years that I have had my spinal injury I have tried many alternative therapies these include; acupuncture, aromatherapy (which I still have once a week), its very relaxing, although you feel like a sardine afterwards. I'm not looking for the cure to fixing my spine, I'm content with my life, although it can be lonely at times, I miss a good cuddle, female affection, just simple things to like chatting over a meal.
My plans for next year are to travel a little more, I hope to go and visit some historical places in England. There are some lovely country homes in this country with some beautiful gardens. Also I'm interested in getting a lodge in Worcestershire, maybe a cottage, I've been looking at Pershore, but down near the sea looks very enticing.
When it comes to being honest, I must just say you may have to put up with a lot with me, being in a chair is restricting, but it depends on what person is sitting in it also. Maybe your that lady who looks at the person inside first, if so then your very special and you’re the women for me.
