Cerebral Palsy
I was diagnosed with a mild, yet noticable, form of CP. At 13, my good leg (the left one) went bad (due to the way I walked because of my Cerebral Palsy) resulting in a series of operations, with the last being the fusion of the hip. Recently,I fell down the stairs in my house, breaking the already injured hip. I now walk with a walker and travel with a wheelchair.

I have lived a wonderful life, i have beautiful friends, i am a child of God, i have a steady job and a supportive family. At 30 i feel like my life is sometimes just starting and as such i am super excited at what's to come.I take my faith very seriously and i love being involved at church serving God and others. I have traveled to various places and i am not thinking of stopping anytime soon.

I am a 48yr old woman with Fibromyalgia. I am just about to lose my job as my employer does not feel I am able to continue in my current role. Until 6 months ago I was active in competitive football and hockey, although I couldn't always manage every week or a full match. Now I have a daily stretching programme which helps to get me through the day. I also try and go for a walk every day. I don't agree with western meds and try to control my pain with ice/heat/massage and natural supplements. I am generally quite positive and still harbour some hope that my condition will improve or that a 'cure' will be found.
