I am 52 this year, but only got told last Tuesday that I have always had Spastic Diplegia, and although it mainly affects my legs, it sometimes affects my arms.
I grew up without aids and was only in a chair from 1993-2011. I have to use my Rollator to get around. Nobody told my mum that due to her being in labour for 24 hours with me and started to come out breach. One of my legs came out and went back in. I laid horizontal and as the doctor was going to do Ceaserian, I came out the right way. My mum told me this year's ago. I use to cry in pain with the cramps in my legs the pain hurt so much I would cry myself to sleep.
My parents said that I was a late walker compared to my younger siblings. I walked on my toes, but thought I was walking normally.
I love the Scriptures, crocheting, microbiology, trekking through woodland with help from my husband and a friend. I have to keep stopping and need help getting over certain places able bodied easily overcome, photography, wildlife, and have had interesting experiences from the age of four. I love finding new projects to do. I love cooking, and enjoy being a wife, mother and grandmother.
