It is hard for me to find joy in life because I feel heartbroken and helpless. I don’t think anyone can love me. Sometimes I can’t enjoy what would normally make me happy. I am looking for emotional support and I want to get help.
I have had M.E. for 5 years and am mostly housebound, although I can get out about once a week if I'm well enough. I'm engaged and am getting married in December 2014. I'm mummy to Buddy the Chihuahua :)

It would be nice to have someone who would enjoy going to places together and of course trying out local eateries. There's nothing like a good dinner and then going for a walk with a great companion at sunset! But it's give and take too, and I won't complain when you take me along shopping at the mall or while I sit in the waiting room when you get your nails done. :) I understand that being together is the most important part of a relationship no matter what we are doing (besides communication, of course).
I'd like to think I'm a simple-no baggage guy. I have a great career, but my biggest weakness is probably i love the hard.I'm now looking for a relationship, but I'm not looking to jump into anything without getting to know someone first. I've never been married, so I'm pretty sure it won't kill me to take things slow and make sure we are compatible.

i'm 66 years old, widowed for three years, I like audiobooks model railway, pop music from the 50's up toearly 80's, i'm very quiet and don't chat a lot but i do like talking to people of a similar nature.Hi, I'm 61 and married to Janet my wife who is severely disabled and needs constant care 24 hours. I'm totally blind and hearing impaired but use a hearing aids, I am looking after my disabled wife.

I am 49 years old and became disabled about 4 years ago due to chronic back problems/pain. I've had 2 surgeries and will probably need another. I've also managed anxiety and clinical depression for many years. I've been married for 23 years, have a 25 year old son and a 3 year old grandson (and another grandson on the way!). I am working on a Bachelor's degree in Web Development through an online program at Baker College. I am a musician/songwriter and I love reading, horror/sci-fi movies and video games. I don't have a social life and miss talking to people with similar interests (my wife isn't into video games or horror movies).I do have friends I e-mail sometimes but they all have busy lives. I was on Facebook, but closed my account because there is just too much negativity on it. Also, I am of Christian Faith.
