Hugs and kisses to everyone! My name is Robert and I am a 24 year old man living near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am on the high functioning end of the Autism Spectrum. Specifically, I have been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome (AS). I would like to meet with a young lady in the age range 20-25 who has been diagnosed with a similar disability. I have lots of love and compassion to give freely to a warm and caring woman. These days finding the so-called “love of your life” is becoming ever more difficult, especially for people with disabilities. If we don’t seek each other out relentlessly, we will never find ourselves! Loneliness is far more debilitating and devastating than the disability itself. The heavy brainstem hemorrhage I suffered from July 16, 2008 left me quite impaired. Can't properly walk, balance is gone for good, couldn't swallow for two and a half years, now I can! right side is plegic, (used to be right-handed), became left-handed, wheelchair user, sight's impared, and I won't get into too many details here, hearing's impared too, though only a bit, speech was gone for a while, now it's back, though my voice is not anymore as it used to be. I am looking for friends to write/talk to on Skype, and share experiences...(I'm still possessing excellent thinking capabilities).

originally joined to find support after my Husband walked out on me, leaving me with 2 boys aged 13 & 16. My oldest son has Asperger's syndrome. Now feeling a lot happier and confident in myself. I need my wheelchair most evenings but I only like to accept help when I've tried myself but failed. I love my boys and my dogs to pieces. I am a very proud mum. I used to be a nursery nurse but had to retire 4 years ago due to my disability.

I do the special Olympics. I grew up in foster care being mentally sexually and physically abuse. I was homeless last year in September on up until this year I have one kidney and i have fibroids on the my uterus. I also help.out with the PD.
