I know from my own experience about good friends leaving me when they herd about my Osteoporosis diagnosis. But the way I looked at it was if they are treating me like that they are not true friends. True friends stand by you know matter what happens. I have met some really true friends since who are great and like me for who I am through good days and bad. Since I became disabled I've looked at as a new chapter in my life, I still do things I enjoy just adapted for me now with my disability. Never give up on yourself!!
