Hi, I am originally from Hawaii but now live in Colorado. I haven't posted in a forum in a long time, I thought I say hello. I'm a para, I love playing wheelchair tennis to keep healthy. I'm looking for new friends, and a place to hang out. Site and people looks great. Thanks

Is Hawaii a nice place to go on holiday? It looks nice on Hawaii 5 O tv program. Why did you move to Colorado?

Hi, I moved to Colorado because I went to school at the Univ Of Colorado, then I went to work for IBM in Boulder CO. Hawaii is great, I miss it but I am loving the Mountains

Should I go to Hawaii for a holiday? is it good for wheelchair access?

Yes, if you can, Hawaii would be a great place for a holiday. For best wheelchair access, the main islands would be recommended. There are beach chairs available if you want to get close to the ocean. Oahu has worked very hard at becoming a very wheelchair accessible. Most of the islands have taken measures to come into compliance with the ADA law. But, not all the islands are completely wheelchair friendly, but on the whole there are more accessible areas than it used to be.

Karl you just want to go to oggle at the women in grass skirts!! :lol: I have to say I used to cringe at the thought of going to USA, thought it was just people with high pitched voices saying 'have a nice day'. But when I went on my 1st cruise holiday over there starting in New Orleans I was proved wrong I'm glad to say it is a wonderful country with people who can't do enough for you and is miles ahead of the UK with making disabled access and places disabled friendly. I can't wait to see more of the USA!

In my teens I dreamt alot about going to Hawaii as I like the sound of the name "Hawaii" Ok and the grass skirts look hot too lol
