Hi,
I have posted this before, but I just thought you might like to know how I am getting on with my petitions on the Downing Street website.
For those who don't know, my petitions are about the lack of talking books and the lack of emplyment opportunities for disabled people.
I ahve met Tony Blair and Gordon brown over this, although I didn't get much chance to talk to them. On Wednesday I am going to westminster to watch Prime Ministers Question Time after being invited by my local MP.
So far the petitions only have a few signatures. Please take a look at my site using the link below. It is far from finished, so I would welcome any comments.
Also, I would be interested in hearing from anyone with a story about the way disabled people are treated and, if you will give your premission, I will post it on there and if I am able to promote it to the powers that be, maybe they might read them.
Thanks for reading this.
