Hey!
Main reason I'm here is to ask questions, but friends are cool, too. Read my really long profile!
I'm mainly looking for advice on getting into the field of disabilities and/or social issues (like discrimination or what-not). So maybe assisting people with disabilities or something like that? I have no idea how that kind of field works. I'm more interested in functional or physical DA's (i.e. deaf, blind, etc.) than developmental. I don't know that I could handle that.
Issue is, I'm not quite ready to try school again. Eventually, yes. Not now. Finding a job has always been difficult for me, due to my DA. But working a job is just fine. I love working. Ideally, I could find an internship/mentorship/apprenticeship or entry-level type deal? In any case, I feel like getting in and understanding the field and peoples' needs better will give me a good kickstart.
Thanks! Give me a holler.
