Off-Road Mountain Wheelchair

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum so would just like to introduce myself and my project.

My 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with myalgic encephalomyelitis last year and misses getting out into the mountains. I've looked around at different wheelchair options and couldn't find anything to suit our needs. It seemed I had no other choice to build a custom wheelchair from scratch. Hi Glyn, I have read your blog, it's so interesting and what you are doing is amazing! I think you should talk to Karl the 'Boss' of this site as he has changed a mobility scooter and put more speed into it and I'm sure will find what you are doing for your daughter very interesting. I look forward to keeping updated on how the build is going and how your daughter is. Please send her a hug from me.
