I've wanted to go a fest here for years. Northern Wisconsin has quite a few, Rockfest, Countryfest, etc, etc,. They do have spots for people who bring campers and tents and other than that, the facilities are quite primitive. I've never heard of any costume themes but a lot of getting drunk and naked. Ah well, youth... Anyway, truth be told I'd rather use an adjacent corn field when "nature calls" than to use the portable toilet facilities. I'm weird about stuff like that and always have been. But the music is great, lots of walking, though. I'm also concerned about the heat. It's usually the hottest part of the summer and it is not unusual to have to take cover from storms, even, perhaps, a tornado. But that is the fun of it! My husband is such an old fart and doesn't want to really do anything like that, so I need to gather up some girlfriends and see if we can ever make this thing happen.
