Safety on the buses was created by Pinky2
I noticed here in the USA some people don't hook down wheelchair the right way the buses. It can can be special transportation, city buses, or the buses thur any company that might transport kids to school. I work for the Center for Disability Services here in Upstate NY. It is a nice place for people with disabilities to work. The thing is some of the wheelchairs don't have tie down brackets or blue straps like myself. So the Center is hooking the things anywhere on the chair. I know that isn't right. Of course I speak up but the reat of them don't know how to. I don't know how it is for the rest of you where ever you are?

If you put the straps on the main frame of the wheelchair, the wheelchair will be ok. don't put the straps on the armrests, footrests and backrest.
On public buses they don't strap wheelchairs down so hold on tight if you come to England
