Backwoods adventures for people with disabilities -- how a few technical innovations can make a whole world of difference. By Claire Prosser and Corley McElwain. Here we see British Columbia Mobility Opportunities Society (BCMOS) which operates the TrailRider, an access-all-areas backwoods wheelchair, and 9Lives Adventures, which operates adrenalin tourism for people with disabilities. They are based in Vancouver and Whistler, BC, respectively.
