it is an inflammation on the knee it swells up.. mine had a boil like think on it.. cant remember all the symptoms as was only 12 at the time ..think I got it twice
keept having to have hot composses put on it and could not walk with it so spent the time on couch or bed for me it was a nightmare as it was very painfull and sore dont think many children get it .not sure

my father fought alongside them he and other service ppl spoke very highly of them
