So then you do what I did with virginmedia/NTL (Cable).
ring them us and say you want to cancel your package.
they ask why, so you say, because new customers get a better deal than I do, and I''ve been with you x-number of YEARS!
Then tell them that you want a complete re-installation.
then their little minds work out how much it's all going to cost them in time to get engineers out, sort paperwork etc etc.
When all they have to do is flick a switch at their end, and you get the same package for the cost of a Newbie.
that's how I got my tv/phone/broadband pckage for ^6.50 per month (Newbie rate), as opposed to £35 per month (Old customer Rate).
Keep an eye on their front page of their website, and when new offers for Newbies comes up, call them and do the same thing again.
I do the same thing for my mobile phone too!
You gotta be savvy in this world y'know,

I agree dorrie they put the phone down mid sentance and drastically overcharged us. Computer/man made errors have ended up with us being charged 87 quid for ONE months films instead of 35 snd they wont pay it back!!!!!!!!!!
