Scotty is unable to have the shoulder operation,it is a very complex procedure,they have to remove the muscle,then fix a steel ring in the shoulder joint and sew the muscle back in place,they say it would not be safe to do it, due to his Epilepsy.He therefore will have restricted movement in his right arm,he wont be able to turn his arm or raise it above shoulder height.I just hope we never get caught in a hold up,if they say put your hands up, he will be knackered:lol: His Epilepsy remains stable,however he has to start having his medication changed, so I dont know how that will alter things,the medication he is on now can only be a stop gap,he can not stay on it for any length of time.
So folks we are not out of the woods yet,but are in a clearing at the moment.Scotty thanks you all for your good wishes and kind thoughts.

Scotty started feeling unwell yesterday morning,he slept ok last night, but then started having strong Myclonic jerks again so we have had to give him extra medication to stop these,he seems ok now.<br><br>Post edited by: Dorrie, at: 2009/02/08 09:45
