Is It Only Me???

I know that in some peoples eyes I am about to be controversial...But am I the only one who finds the Public Exposure of the demise of One Jade Goody OBSCENE....I seem to be unable to watch TV,read a newspaper or even go on to MSN without having Max Cliffords ( her Publicist) handywork thrust before me.
As a counter argument there are thousands of people coping with there pain and suffering without such a massive display of grief.
I would also point out the following.....
This is the same Jade Goody who approx. a year and a half ago ( with nothing medically wrong with her) kept parking her expensive Italian Sports Car in a blue disabled bay...when challenged repeatedly told the challenger to f..k Off...
This is the same loud mouthed Jade Goody who publicly racialy attacked an Asian female...
He future husband is on release from PRISON for Assault....
If the press is to be believed we are now dealing with Saint Jade of Essex.......Im betting Gordon Brown makes her a postumous Dame...

yes....i find the whole thing totally obscene.

i had early cervical ca a few years ago....luckily cell removal was successful....but still go for regular checkups for this ...........it was a very difficult time for me.

i guess weve all been unable to avoid j.goodies press coverage...its everywhere.....am sorry she got this...godknows wat shes going through!!, but i do feel that i really would prefer not to be onslaughted by the press she is receiving.

Dying is a private thing!!I think it is only for close friends and family to be part of this,I feel for anyone so young,who could have avoided this if she had taken heed of her medic's,she has been very stupid and is paying the hard way,I feel also for her two boys,but they will have financial security , alot of orphans do not.<br><br>Post edited by: Dorrie, at: 2009/02/22 17:27

I differ in my view...

I say good on her in this instance for going public. If it just encourages one person to go for a smear and get their cancer caught in time to be cure and a life is saved she has to be applauded.

I can't begin to imagine what she is going through and to do in all in the public gaze... but if magazines and whoever are willing to pay for her story then who wouldn't take that money to secure a better future for their children.

I'm not condoning what she has done in the past. I'm just talking of the here and now.

Respect that line of opinion and coming from a person with an unblemished record of care...I would agree with it in total.
It is only my opinion but she is typical of the Chav Society we have become..Non caring,stuff you I will takle what I want,give my racialist uneducated opinions to anyone who will listen....type of world.
I will not accept she has an ounce of interest whether her loudmouthed publicity leads to a future sufferer getting scan.....She has confirmed with her track record that she is one of lifes Takers.
I hope your correct and lives are saved...as they were for a short while when Kylie Minogue had a problem....History shows a temporary blip..

Worth noting that Wendy Craig died today after a long battle with Breast Cancer....Left us in a dignified manner without reaching into the gutter for additional cash ..via her publicist...
Now there is someone who has contributed to society...entertained people for many years...Respect xxxx

Whatever she chooses to do to herself and her remaining time and dignity is surely her own choice and i in part agree with justmee and with tony too. Over and above all i feel her children are going to be left a rather cheapened and tawdry image of their mother dying in as loud and as public a manner as she can. I dont see chav extrordinaire or mother theresa only a terrified and confused young woman who i honestly think still does not believe she will die. Those poor boys will be rich yes but what a resounding image to grow up around for their remaining life. A mother famous for being thick brassy loudmouthed rascist and generally fame hungry to the extent of not thinking of maybe doing this in private with the boys and her family!! Poor Bobby and Freddy is all i can say.

It seems to me that people pick and choose who to hate or love with all these reality shows and personal interviews that are the rage
I dont know Jade but the one thing that comes across is her love for her children princess Diana also loved her children but that did not stop either one talking about things that some ppl might think where personal
the only diffrence is one was worshiped because off image and the other hated because of image but they where both woman who loved there children
as I dont know either personaly I can only say I hope both sets of boys will not keep being hurt when things keep being draged up about there mums

I agree totally with that,I hope there is someone who can care for these boys,they are only very young.

Me too Dorrie as their father Jeff Brazier is conspicuous by his abscence alone. His silence also is odd. I would imagine he would be telling everyone VERY clearly that he will be raising the children they bought into the world together. Mind you i doubt that will go down well with his latest femme fatale dont you people. Step up to the mark and be a man Mr Brazier your sons need you!!
