Oh yes,its that time of year when all the out of work pub-singers get together with second rate songwriters ...and have a festival of mediocrity in some far off country....Its the Eurovision Pong Contest....
No matter what the merits of each entry....politcal aliances vote for one-another ...and our BBC is the only Net contributor....Yes,Ill repeat that...Our License payments contribute to this Total Waste Of Time ...
So what we have are loads of countries who hate the UK and everything it stands for ...yet we are the only ones making a Net contribution...Its time we said...OK get on ith this rubbish if you like,but we want no more part....We can then use the hundreds of thousands of pounds for what our license money was intende....Making Quality TV for Us...
