Where are all the members?

According to the number quoted on the Members section, Able Here has 1558 registered users.

Plowing through the pages of names it appears that many join this Forum to use as a free dating site. Others \"say\" that they want to make new friends, not partners but just friends. And many just want penpals.

But out of the remainder, most appear to have only actually posted on the Forum maybe just once, maybe two or three times, and sometimes never, and those that do............

............they vanish, never to be seen again.

Why?

Why do people bother to join this Forum and then ignore it?

Oh, and to those who read this and keep sending me invitations to be their penpal, to meet up for \"fun\", to ask for donations towards their \"special wheelchair\" needs - a message for you all.

Seriously though, why do people join the site but not join IN?

I can't understand it either.This site has alot of potential and it is just not getting used to its full capacity.
People who I have contacted and become penpals with and people who have done visa versa just haven't kept in touch with me-its not just the odd one or two either,its alot of people over the years and I just can't understand it? xx

Well...maybe we should Dumb-down like on television. We could have Bingo nights....Little Brother ( where we all sit about doing nothing of any interest whatsoever).....The F Factor ( where people with no talent at all look silly in front of othere)....MasterGrind ( where contestants sharpen knives etc).......The Bill ( where we are entertained by men called William )....
