I myself are dairy intolerant and find it hard when it comes to finding an alternative to milk. I have tried the soya milk and didn't like it. And have also tried the lactolose free milk which didn't work well when heated.
While shopping last Friday my husband came across rice milk in the indian food ilse and brought it for me to try. At 1st I was not sure, so poured alittle in a glass and tried it and found it was lovely, had a creamy taste, so decided to try it in my horlicks and it went really well and still taste good even with hot water and horlicks! I expect it will taste great with cereal and porridge, can't wait to have some!!
So I can truely reccomend rice milk as an alternative to milk and I think it's alot better than soya and lactolose free milk, don't take my word for it try it if your dairy intolerant!!
