Did anyone see the programme called 'Are you having a laugh? TV and Disablity' it was on BBC2 at 11.20pm last night? I stayed up burning the midnight oil to watch it! It was very well done and had comments and interviews with Disabled people as well as a sprinkle of able bodied people who also came across well. It was a funny yet serious look at how disabled people are portrayed on television and how that rubs off on how people treat disabled people in todays world. It also looked at how the U.K is still behind the times on making everyday places like shops, restautants and the work place disabled friendly. It was a much watch programme for everyone really and should have been shown at peak time for a wider audience to see it. If you didn't get to see it last night it's on BBC IPlayer It's a much watch!!
