Life starts again on Thursday!

Just wanted to share my good news with you all, I have been lucky enough to have been given an electric wheelchair from the British legion/SSAFA that is being delivered on Thursday.
The difference this will make to my life is huge, not just in getting around my flat but being able to get out and about and do the little things I have been missing doing since my accident even being able to go food shopping for myself
I was turned down by the NHS as at the time of assessment I was able to walk TWO steps (I was stupid enough to take a load of morphine before they came to assess me Grrrr.) So the British legion and SSAFA was my last hope. I cannot thank them enough, for finding the funding and donations that will give me this new lease of life.

Great News, My new nhs chair came last thursday! I applied in May 2011!

WoW that was quick mine has been going on since Feb
