Some of you on here speak negative about your disability I am asking WHY?

This makes you unique it makes you one of a kind their is no other person like you, they may have the same disability but do they do everything you do?

Getting up at the same time-eating the same for lunch etc

PLEASE REMEMBER YOU ARE YOU

We are all different. Disability is not a reason for pride or joy. disability does not make anyone unique. We are unique irrespective of disability. Disability just a sad fact of life.

I understand where you are coming from NZ, I have come to terms with who I am now because of my disability. You do have to come to terms with who you are now otherwise you will spend the rest of your life depressed and locked away which is not healthy. There are so many things you can do to enjoy life even with a disability, just take a look at the paraolympics!

There's room for all points of view, we can only say what we feel. Of course it's much too easy to fool oneself and deny our own thoughts and feelings, loading them with overly positive or negative imperatives learnt from others.
I was born with haemophilia B a chronic health condition rather than a disability. Over the years the consequences of my medical condition led to disability and now I use a wheelchair. Not an outcome I feel good about but I do feel good about how I cope with the issues it throws up.
