New Band Aid Single

What is everyone's thoughts on the new Band Aid single, 'Do they know it's Christmas'? This version has been changed to raise money for the Ebola crisis and Sir Bob Geldof has changed the lyric's to suit it.
It was thrown together 2 weeks ago on Sunday 16th November with many popular Singers and bands taking part and of course Bono was part of it to sing his famous line which was changed to suit the song. I'm still undecided about it, I've always loved the original but I'm not used to the new lyrics but I do hope they raise lots of money from it and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it beats the X Factors winners song as my favourite singer has been kicked off!

Exactly my thoughts Karl! We're not trying to feed Ebola we're trying to save people from dying of Ebola! These only about 3 singers who I like on the single which has put me off buying it. If they had spent some time planning it instead of throwing it together in 48hrs it might be a lot better but I think Sir Bob must watch the news and think right I'm going to save that cause and literally text people and see who is willing to give their time for free and slap it together to get in the charts that weekend!
