On B.B.C 1 last night I was moved to tears watching D.I.Y S.O.S The Veterans Build. They where doing a house for a Soldier named Lamin who had both his legs and right arm blown off by a mine in Afghanistan. His story was heart breaking he was a broken man, he felt useless and could do simple things like go upstairs to read his children a bedtime story or watch his son play football. But what the team did by rebuilding a shell of a home on a street and putting in a lift so he could get upstairs. And redoing the whole street so it became a veterans street with homes for them and centres for them to go was amazing. small things to make a big difference. Well done D.I.Y S.O.S!!
