Just got a phone call from my Hospital to say they where having to cancel my Pre-Op assessment due to lack of staff and will do a phone Pre-Op assessment over the phone tomorrow. I had to phone the hospital transport straight away as I had a text to say they where on their way just 5 minutes before so felt awful to tell them it was cancelled.
The state of United Kingdom's N.H.S is really falling apart at the seams and it's sad because it has always been the United Kingdom's proudest achievement.
