FORUMS NEED USERS TO MAKE THEM WORK

We need 100 or more people a day to be using the forums to make them more interesting and to work better 
where is everyone 
there are lots and lots of members but very few ever do much on here forum wise 
there are heaps of subjects  actually  2764 are already here ready to use and so easy to add another of what ever u like 

lets get writing   

I dont know how to get the users writing on the forum.

The users send messages to each other alot.

I do mention the forum on my welcome message to new members, Maybe if there is a mention on the home page to remind members there is this interesting place to hang and with sujests to get into and meet other members? I don't know but if it's advertised in plain view maybe it will entice more members.

people prefer to use chat now

they are for different uses tho chat is one on one and forums are for everyone in one hit
