Ahhh..living in a Temperate climate is more varied xxxx

Yeah, well do I remember opening the back door to let the dogs out, and the snow blocking the doorway.

The winter of '46 & '47 was rather snowy as well - birthday party in March '47 canceled as we were all snowed in.

Strangely enough, the following March we had our party in the garden, in summer frocks. Well, the girls wore frocks, the boys wore shorts.

Oh, except for one little lad who came in a kilt!
