100g-4oz self raising flour,
50g-2oz light suet,
pinch of salt,
cold water to mix,
1)mix flour,suet,salt,together.
add 5 table spoons of cold water,add extra if needed to form a pliable dough.
divide dough into balls with floured hands.
place on top of a simmering stew,or casserole,
cover with a tight fitting lid and cook for 20 minutes,
will make 8 small,or 4 larger dumplings,
