Winter Bugs!!

I wanted to post this as a stark reminder that the Winter Bug season is upon us and I myself have been a casualty already. I caught a flu bug on Friday and it's changed into a nasty chest infection that sent me to the G.P's yesterday. I was told that people who are some medications are more prone to this happening because their immune unable to fight it off. So get your flu vaccine done fast! I have to wait for a fortnight till I get mine but I certainly will because this chest infection is brutal!! :sick:

You have just reminded me that it is time for my flu vaccine and that I'm overdue for my final hep.A vaccine. Was diagnosed with liver disease so I'm getting the A & B vaccines. The irony is that I'm one of the non-alcohol drinkers in an otherwise highly alcoholic family! HA!

It's always the way isn't it Jana! Murphey's law the only one who is clean of everything gets the full package of nasty's! Like myself with this chest infection, hubby smokes like a trooper doesn't get chest infection me clean and I get it.
