Got a flu bug for Christmas!!

Well my next door neighbour came round Christmas eve and said she had the flu and what happened Boxing day I woke up feeling crappy with a flu bug! And this morning my husband has woken up with the flu bug showing how contagious it is and before anyone says anything I've had my flu jab and it doesn't cover a bug but just the flu! So beware if you come in contact with anyone who has it you will catch it!!   

the same flubug hit me and my mother, i was the unlucky one to lose my voice over it too lol

 Still got the flu it's spread to my sinuses as well now and head, felt awful yesterday so stayed in bed all day. It's been nearly three weeks so hoping I will feel better soon. 

Yeah, it's not cool to celebrate the holidays with a disease... I had a similar story once, too. I'm all for getting vaccinated anyway. You probably contracted some other strain of flu. I get the vaccination every year and now I don't get sick.  I also keep a close eye on my grandmother's vaccination schedule, I was advised to do so at homecareassistance.com/palm-beach . Since people in their old age don't have the same immunity, this protection is very necessary for them. Note that it`s important to have a humidifier, because it`s hard to breathe during the flu, and this stuff is a great help to alleviate the condition.
