Hi. I was educated during the 1970s into 80s. I was born with spina bifida and hydroceplalous. My mother especially wanted me educated in mainstream schools. Sadly this didnt happen as it wasnt the done thing then. I sure as hell wish it had been as i feelk i have lost out on many things being educated in \"special\" schools. Dont get me wrong they do have their place. Just for me i feel i lost out alot on things in many ways. Lynne in Coventry UK
