A C5/C6 Quadriplegic's take on the top five things not to say or do to people in wheelchairs. I decided to have some fun and keep it 100.

These are strictly from my point of view and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Over the past 11 years of living with paralysis, I've learned that sometimes people get weird around wheelchair users - And these are my thoughts about it. Please do not: 1. Tell stories of you using a wheelchair (short-term) 2. Pray for wheelchair users in public places 3. Illegally park in Handicap spaces OR access aisles 4. Violate personal space 5. Assume. Anything.
