 I went to the 'do' after a funeral and had to be lifted down two steps ( in my wheelchair)was I cross!! the family of my friend had checked and were told that it was accessible!!! the actual room was almost big enough to dance in, only one grab rail and the handbasin at the other side of the room, no litter bin either. I had to have help, I am usually independent guess who wont be going there again. Mind you I had two very strong good looking men to lift me, haven't asked if their backs are ok.:woohoo:

Toilet....Few yrs back went to a powwow in Ft Hall,ID.
Several yrs ago I use to sing and dance at the powwow.
Thiz waz my first time being disable I checked out
the powwow. Lots of people from all over.
Anyway, I went to a portable outhouse. Never used a
outhouse since my disability so I was a little nervous.
Once inside the little stall I notice a grab bar. Never
before seen one in a portable outhouse. Amazing...!
Well had a good Time checking out the dancers and drums. Of course had to buy an Injun taco.
yum yum yum
