New problem with vision

Woke up this morning with new visual problem, thousends of flashing dots in front of my eyes. When I close my eyes it's like looking up at the stars on a dark night. So I waited a few hours ro see if it cleared but it didn't so I called the Eye Hospital and was 28th in the queue, so called my Doctors and they said had all ready sent them a letter to request an appointment when I asked in December.so suggested I called Dr secretary to see if I could bring appointment closer. So I called hospital switchboard aske to speak to Opthomology secretary got pit through to answer machine !! Who was I kidding would be lucky to get sooner appointment!!

it seems everywhere there is a huge shortage of medical people as well as ambulance people
aged care seems to be the same too
i do hope u get in sooner and work out what can be done if needed

I have got lucky been seen on Monday morning at the eye hospital, so will knoq more then. I know there is no magic cure, Will keep you updated.

Went to the eeye hospital yesterday was there most of the day found that my pupils are permently dilated and the stars in front of my eyes are a deuteriation of my macular dystrophy, so at least I know now and can learn to live with it, I will see the ophthalmologist again in a few months.

There isn't anything they can do Gary it's part of the deuteriation of the macular dystophy. I'm having to learn to live with it and adjust things like computers , phones and tellys to suit my eyes and use magnify glasses to read things I can't see. Change light bulbs to brighter ones and use coloured plates so I can see my food. So much changing to help me!! .
